Laboratory Studies

We require certain laboratory studies to perform a proper assessment of our patients. However, if you have had recent laboratory studies completed within the past 3 months, additional laboratory studies may not be required.

We ask that the following laboratory studies are checked prior to or shortly after being on any "weight loss" medication therapy: CBC w/o differential (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Lipid Panel, Hemoglobin A1C (Hgb A1C), and Insulin. These laboratory studies should be completed while fasting, meaning you should have nothing to eat or drink (except water- water is OKAY) for 8 hours prior to your laboratory studies being completed.

You may view and pay for your laboratory studies BELOW! If you have had the above laboratory studies completed within the past 3 months, you may send your results to us for review. However, if you are due for laboratory studies, you may obtain a laboratory order from us and choose to either run your laboratory studies through your health insurance OR you may choose to pay cash to for your laboratory studies. The above laboratory panel cash pay price is $99. However, we do also offer an expanded laboratory panel at $125, which includes the above labs as well as additional thyroid studies and vitamin levels: free T4, free T3, vitamin d, and a vitamin b12 level. We also offer an expanded laboratory panel with hormone levels at $167, which includes the above labs as well as: estradiol, testosterone free & total, progesterone, and DHEA. Please note that these are more expanded laboratory panels and provide more information for your treatment plan, however the expanded panels are not required.
